of supervision, Ms. Rose Ndetho (Right) during the recent
official opening of Fina Bank Nakuru branch.
Fina Bank, a thriving
Commercial bank, has opened a new branch in Nakuru.
The initiative has been necessitated by the continued
need for the bank to better serve its growing list of
customers. Fina Bank’s expansion strategy is aimed
at refocusing its approach to fully satisfy its clientele
needs.
The medium sized commercial
bank focuses on partnering and growing with SMEs in
Kenya and the rest of the East African region. Fina
Bank’s SME banking involves providing lending
and saving services to its clientele.
“Fina Bank SME
banking is beginning to bear fruits,” says Mr.
Frank Griffiths, Fina Bank Group Chief Executive Officer.
In addition, he asserts that in just three years of
working in that market niche, the bank has spread its
wings both locally and across the borders in Rwanda,
as opportunities for SME banking open up in the region.
Currently the bank
has 6 branches in Kenya – 4 in Nairobi, 1 in Nakuru
and 1 in Mombasa; it also intends to open other branches
in the country as well as in other parts of the East
African region. In addition, Fina has 5 branches in
Rwanda. Fina Bank is the only bank in Kenya with a presence
in both Kenya and Rwanda
