Mr. Macharia is an advocate of the High Court of Kenya. He holds a Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Nairobi, Diploma from the Kenya School of Law, He is a commissioner for oaths and Notary public and a certified Public Secretary. Mr. Macharia sits on numerous charitable trusts.

Rao has 34 years of banking experience in India and East Africa. He worked for a number of banks including Punjab National Bank, HDFC Bank, BNP Paribas and Woori Bank, of Korea, in India for over two decades. His robust East African experience covers Fina Bank Kenya, Ecobank Kenya and Diamond Trust Bank Uganda, of which he was the Chief Executive Officer.While in Uganda, for two years, Rao represented the Ugandan banking industry, on the Board of Rural Electrification Authority of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development, Uganda. He is experienced in all sections of banking especially in operations, treasury, corporate banking, MSME, finance, audit and risk.Rao holds a Bachelors Degree in Physics and Masters in Economics. He is a Certificated Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers (IIB) and additionally holds a Certificate in Corporate Finance from IIB. He also did Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in finance and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). He joined Fina Bank s.a., Rwanda in November 2009 as Deputy Managing Director and is currently the Managing Director.

Mr. Dhanu Chandaria is the principle founder of Fina. An eminent entrepreneur, he has over 50 years experience in business. His other interests include Kenpoly - the leading household plastics company in East Africa. He has been chairman of Fina Bank Kenya since inception.

Mr. Kenneth Agaba joined Fina Bank in October 2005 as the Head of Finance & Administration and was subsequently appointed Head of Business Banking before being appointed as an Executive Director. He started his career at Ernst & Young (Uganda) where he was a Business Development Manager prior to joining Fina Bank. He was appointed to the Board in December 2007. Mr. Agaba holds a B. Com (Accounting) Hons from MUK and is a qualified Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPA (K)).

Mr. Hanish Chandaria is a founding partner of a UK based investment firm. He has 10 years experience in Finance, having started his career in investment banking at Soc Gen in London. He holds a Masters degree in International Business from Ecole Supérieure de Commerce, Grenoble, France and a BSc in Economics and Mathematics from Bristol University.

Mr. Gerald Mpyisi is an active businessman in the private sector with interests in the technology, transport and property sectors. He was previously a consultant / adviser to HE the President and GoR in matters of IT and related areas. He is also a very active Rotarian.

Mr Celestine Kayitare has been the Head of various private and public Corporations over the last 10 years, including a spell as Commisioner of Insurance and is currently the Managing Director of POSITA, the Govt owned Post Office and Savings Bank.

Mr. Benjamin Gasamagera is an Engineering, and Computer Science graduate from University of Tianjin. He also had lots of trainings and worked with Danzas, a famous Suisse International forwarder. He is an Entrepreneur and Businessman and has been running a personal business for over 10 years in the field of manufacturing & trade, presently with an annual turnover of over USD 1.6m. Benjamin is presently the Board chairman of the Rwanda Commercial Registration Services Agency ( RCRSA) and has been an active board member of the Private Sector Federation as a chairman of the Young Entrepreneurs chamber.

Ms Kampeta Pitchette Sayinzoga has a master’s degree (Msc) in Economic development and policy development from university of Nottingham (UK). Since 2007 to date, she has been working at ministry of finance and Economic Planning as a Director of Macro-economic policy unit. She is dynamic, well organized and professional with experience in development.
